We’ve been here in the Borai Industrial Area for quite some time now. If you head out toward Post-Jora Tarai in Rajnath Gaon, you’ll find our gates. It is a busy place, mostly because the steel and power business doesn't really stop for much. Most days, it is just about keeping the machinery running and making sure the trucks are moving in and out like they are supposed to. We have a lot of people from the local villages working here, and it’s a bit of a walk from the main road, but we manage. The heat from the furnaces is something you get used to after a while, though some days are harder than others. It isn’t fancy office work. There is dust and noise, and things break down sometimes, which means we have to fix them on the fly. We don’t spend much time on big speeches or fancy paperwork if we can help it. The main thing is just getting the orders sorted and out the door so the next load can come in. Our yard is usually full of raw materials and finished bits of steel waiting for transport. It’s loud, and the sun hits the corrugated roofs pretty hard in the afternoons, but that’s just how it is working in an industrial zone like this. We know the neighbors and the truck drivers who have been coming here for years. It’s just us doing our bit every day.
