We've been here in Asharam Nagar for quite some time now. Our spot is right near the ACCRTC, just off Nandini Road in the Jamul Cement Works area. It's a busy part of Durg. Mohd. Ghouse Khan helps manage things at this location. Dealing with cement means we see a lot of trucks and dusty boots every day. It isn't glamorous work, but it's what we do. The office isn't anything fancy, just a functional space where we handle the paperwork and coordinate the loads going out. Most of the people working here are from around the Durg district, so we know the local roads and the heat pretty well. Sometimes the phones don't stop ringing and other days it's just the sound of the ceiling fan clicking away. We try to keep things organized despite the chaos of the construction industry. If you are looking for us, just head toward the colony near the post office. We are usually around during the daylight hours, making sure the orders are moving along. It’s been a long journey being part of the landscape here. There’s always a bit of dust in the air, but that’s just how life is when you’re working with these materials in Chhattisgarh. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the task at hand and getting through the pile of work on the desk every single afternoon.
