Simplex Infrastructure Limited

If you come looking for our team, we are out in Post Hathadandu, right near the Nawagarh police station. This part of the Durg district in Chhattisgarh is mostly rural and very quiet. Simplex Infrastructure Limited uses this spot as our main base for all the local works in the area. It is not like an office you would find in a big city. We have a lot of open space around us and the sound of birds is much more common than the sound of traffic. The staff here mostly wears heavy work boots and clothes that are always a bit dusty. We spend much more time walking the ground than sitting behind a wooden desk. Sometimes the power goes out for a couple of hours in the afternoon and we just have to wait it out or crank up the generator. Life moves a bit slower in this village, but the deadlines for our projects are still very much there. We talk to the local villagers a lot because our projects often run right past their farm fields. It takes a certain kind of person to enjoy working out here. You have to be okay with the intense heat and the feeling of isolation. We do not have any fancy brochures or posters to show people. We just show them the actual structures we are building. The office is mostly for filing papers and keeping the expensive equipment safe at night. It is basic.
