Simplex Engineering

At Simplex Engineering, you can find us in Bhilai, over in the 490024 area of Chhattisgarh. We are an engineering shop, plain and simple. We have been around this part of town for years. The shop isn't anything special to look at, just a metal building with plenty of room for our machines. We spend most of our time out on the floor getting our hands dirty. There is always a lot of noise from the grinders and the welding machines going. It is just the way an engineering place sounds. We have a small office tucked in the corner where we keep the books, but mostly we are out back. The weather here in Bhilai gets pretty intense, so we keep the big fans running all through the day. We don't spend money on fancy decorations or expensive furniture. We would rather spend it on keeping the equipment running right. People from the local industries come to us when they need something fixed fast. We don't have a big marketing team or anyone like that. It is just a few of us who know how to work the machines. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait around, but we usually find something to clean or fix while we wait. It is a decent way to make a living and we have got used to the rhythm of the work. The morning tea break is when we plan out the day.
