Our place is over on Dr. Bhasin S Street in New Khursipar. If you know Bhilai, you probably know Milan Chowk, and we are just around there. We do engineering and foundry work here at Simplex Engg And Foundry Works. It is a hot job, especially being near the furnaces all day long. The shop floor is always covered in iron dust and grease, but that is what you expect in a foundry. We have been in this part of Durg for a good while. We have some old lathes and casting molds that have seen better days but they still work fine. People come by asking for specific parts or some repair work on heavy bits of gear. We just take it day by day. The rain gets pretty heavy here sometimes and we have to make sure the roof isn't leaking over the electrics. It is just a regular local shop where people work hard and try to stay out of the heat. We have been through plenty of cycles in the industry but we keep the doors open and the hammers moving for everyone.
