Shantigari Ayurveda Health Care Centre

Our place is located in Supela, Bhilai, right near that big Tata Motor showroom that everyone uses as a landmark. If you are coming down the main road, you just look for the showroom and we are right there at 5/8 Supela. It’s a pretty straightforward setup we have here. We deal with all sorts of herbs and traditional oils that people look for when they aren't feeling their best. The smell of the shop is the first thing you notice, it's very earthy and strong because of all the natural stuff we keep in the back. We don't have fancy waiting rooms or anything like that. Just some chairs and a desk where we talk to whoever walks in. People from all over Bhilai come by, some looking for something for a backache and others just wanting to see what Ayurveda is about. It's a busy area with cars always zooming past toward the showroom, but we keep the door closed to keep it a bit calmer inside. My family has been interested in these methods for a long time, so running this center feels right. We spend a lot of time grinding ingredients or sorting through new shipments of roots and leaves. It’s manual work and our hands usually stay stained with some kind of herbal paste, but that's part of the life. We just try to help out the neighbors with what we know without any fuss.
