We operate out of Shed No. 6 in the Industrial Estate. It’s a plain, grey building like most of the others around here. When you walk inside, you’ll hear the sound of machinery and probably smell a bit of oil or metal. It’s not the kind of place you’d come to for a fancy meeting. We have heavy worktables and tools scattered around because that’s what we use every single day. The floor is concrete and has a few cracks in it, but it holds up. Most of our time is spent on the floor getting things done. We don't have a big front office or any comfortable couches. There’s just a small corner with a desk where we handle the paperwork. The industrial estate gets pretty busy in the mornings when everyone is starting their shifts, and there’s always a truck or two blocking the lane. We don't use any big words or marketing strategies to describe what we do. We just make things and fix things. It’s loud, it’s often hot, and it’s usually quite messy by the end of the shift. But that’s just how it is in this line of work. We’ve been in this shed for a long time and we know all the other business owners nearby. We just keep our heads down, stay busy with the projects on hand, and make sure we get the work finished on time.
