Sail

Sail operates out of Bungalow 97B/4 in Nehru-Nagar East. Bhilai is a town that knows hard work, and we try to match that energy in our own small way. Being in a bungalow instead of a tall office building makes a difference. It feels more like a home than a workplace sometimes. There’s a small garden area out front that we try to keep tidy, though the weeds usually win. Inside, we’ve converted the rooms into workspaces. It’s a bit of a maze with all the wires and desks, but we know where everything is. The P.O. Bhilai is nearby, so we’re always running back and forth. It’s a lived-in space. There are stains on the rugs and the curtains are a bit faded from the Chhattisgarh sun. We don't have a mission statement on the wall. We just have a calendar and a lot of to-do lists. Most of us have been working here for years. We’ve seen the neighborhood change, but the bungalow stays pretty much the same. It’s a reliable spot. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy when the neighbors are out, but that’s just part of being in Nehru-Nagar. We don’t try to be something we’re not. We’re just a local business named Sail doing what needs to be done every day to keep things running. The bungalow is our base, and it suits our style perfectly without any corporate polish.
