You can find us near the Nagar Panchayat building in Arjunda. We are located at Jiwan Lal Jain’s place, right in the Bazar Chowk area. It is a very busy spot, especially on the weekly market days when everyone from Balod and Durg comes through town. The building is quite old but it is very sturdy. My father knew the Jains for many years, so it felt right for us to set up our little shop here. We deal with small savings and helping people plan for things coming up in their lives. It is nothing fancy, just a room with some metal files and a couple of us working through the day. Sometimes the power goes out in the afternoon, so we just open the big windows and keep going with the paperwork. Arjunda is a small place, so we know most of the families who come in to see us. We are definitely not trying to be some big corporate office. We just want to help our neighbors keep their money safe and maybe grow it a little. The Bazar Chowk is always loud with people talking and cows wandering by, but you get used to it after a while. We have got a few chairs for people to sit and rest while we sort out their papers. No one here wears a suit or a tie, just regular clothes like everyone else. We take our time with each person.
