Neerajan Foundation

We set up the Neerajan Foundation right here in Smriti Nagar, specifically in the Chowhan Green City area. It’s usually pretty quiet around here, and we like that vibe for our daily work. We just wanted to do something that helps out our neighbors in Bhilai and the surrounding parts. Our office is in Orchid-4, which is easy enough to find if you know Junwani. We've been at this for a little while now. Most days are just spent figuring out what needs doing next and how we can use what we have to get it done. It’s not always easy keeping everything running, but we try our best. People sometimes drop by to ask questions or see how things are going. We didn't want to be one of those big, distant groups, so we kept it small and local. Sometimes the power goes out or the traffic in Smriti Nagar gets a bit much, but we make it work somehow. It's mostly just a few of us trying to make a difference where we live. We don't have fancy furniture or a big sign, just our space in the residential complex. It feels more personal that way, like we are actually part of the town. We're usually there during the week if anyone needs to chat. It’s been a learning process for all of us here. We just take it one day at a time and see where we can be useful in the neighborhood.
