We've been at this spot behind Bunkar Sangh in Santra Badi for a while now. It's an industrial area, so there is always noise and movement. Monnet Ispat & Energy Ltd. handles a lot of heavy work here in Durg. Most of us living nearby just show up, do the shift, and keep the machines running. It is not fancy. We deal with steel and power stuff every day. Some days the heat is a bit much, but that’s just how it is in this part of Chhattisgarh. People know us by the big gates. The office part is small, mostly just enough room to keep the logs. Sometimes the dust gets everywhere because of the Santra Badi roads, but we sweep it out and keep going. We don't have big meetings or anything like that. We mostly just talk over tea about what needs fixing or which load is going out next. It's a regular job for regular people.
