Mallikarjuna Sri Chit Funds is based in Shop Number 06 at the Angel Complex. We are right across from the Farishta Complex in Durg, which is a busy area with lots of foot traffic. Dealing with chit funds is what we do here every day. It’s an old way of doing things that our fathers used, but it still works for a lot of people in our town who want to save or need a lump sum. We have a small group of regulars who come in for the monthly auctions. The shop isn't very big, so it gets a bit crowded on those days. It's just a functional space with some chairs and a sturdy desk for the ledgers. We've been in the Angel Complex for a while now, so the other shop owners know us well. We try to keep everything clear so there are no misunderstandings about the money. People in Durg appreciate honesty, so we just tell it like it is without any fluff. If someone is late, we remind them. If someone wins the pot, we get them their money quickly. It’s a straightforward business that has been around for ages.
