If you are walking near the Waghela Complex, you will probably see our small sign out front. Kaya Kalp Beauty Salon Kaya Kalp is tucked away right near the Farishta Complex too. It is a cozy little spot we have had for a good while now. The chairs in the shop are not brand new anymore but they are comfortable enough for a long sit while we work on someone’s hair. We have some mirrors lining the walls and the usual smell of hairspray and shampoo is always in the air. It is mostly just us chatting with the regulars who come in every few weeks for a trim. Being near the two complexes makes it pretty easy for people to find us after they finish their shopping or errands for the day. We do not have a big marketing team or anything fancy like that. It is just a local shop where we try to do a decent job for the neighbors. Sometimes it gets a bit crowded on Saturdays, and the small waiting area gets full, but we always make it work somehow. The light in here is okay, and we keep the place as clean as we can between the different appointments. It has become a bit of a local landmark for the ladies around this part of town. We don't use fancy words for what we do. It is just cutting hair and styling.
