This hospital is a big part of life in Bhilai, especially for those living near Sector 9. It’s a massive facility that’s been around for decades. Because it’s a research center too, there is always a lot going on. It’s not the newest building in the world, and you can see the age in some of the wards and corridors. However, it’s where most people in the city go for serious health issues. The place is sprawling, so it’s easy to get a bit lost if you’re not familiar with which wing is which. We have a lot of different departments, and the staff is always on their feet. It’s a government-run feel, very busy and sometimes a bit loud with all the people coming and going. We don’t have any fancy bells and whistles. It’s just a solid, working hospital that serves the community. The campus is large with plenty of trees, but inside it’s all business. From emergency cases to regular research studies, the work never really stops. People from all over the district come here because it’s one of the main medical hubs. It’s a place that has seen generations of families. We just keep things moving, day and night, making sure the basic healthcare needs are met for everyone. You might have to wait a while in the outpatient department because of the sheer volume of patients, but that is just how it is here.
