Hadid Steel Plant (Al-Suwaidi Contractor Company)

Our office is located at Quarter number 192 on Chaman Road. We are in the Farid Nagar area of Kohka in Bhilai, which is in the Distt-Durg, and our pin code is 490023. This is a very working-class neighborhood and we really like being part of it. We do a lot of contracting work that is linked to the Al-Suwaidi side of things and the Hadid Steel Plant. It is all heavy industry stuff. Most of our days are spent checking on different pieces of equipment or talking to the laborers at the site. Our office is right here in the middle of where people live and work every day. We do not have a fancy receptionist or a lobby with leather chairs. You just walk in the door and talk to whoever is sitting at the desk. We have been a part of the Bhilai community for a long time now. People around here know us because we are practical and do not put on any acts. Steel is a tough business and it requires people who are not afraid to get their hands dirty once in a while. We manage the local side of the contracts and make sure the workers know where they need to go each morning. It is a lot of scheduling and making sure the supplies are at the site on time. Sometimes it gets stressful, but we manage to get through the week.
