Designomonkey (Opc) Private Limited is based in Bhilai, specifically at 1443 Model Town in Nehru Nagar. This part of Chattisgarh is generally quite pleasant and we like the atmosphere here. Our office is located in a residential style building, so it doesn't feel like a cold corporate environment at all. We have a few rooms set up for different tasks, but mostly we all sit together in the main area. The street outside is lined with trees and it’s usually pretty quiet, which is a nice change from the busier parts of Durg. We’ve been here for a while and we’ve made the space our own with some basic furniture and our equipment. Since it’s an OPC, it started out very small and we’ve just kept that same simple feeling as we’ve gone along. We don't have any formal dress codes or long, boring meetings. Usually, we just talk about what needs to happen over a cup of tea in the morning. The walls are mostly bare except for a few things we’ve pinned up to keep track of our work. It’s a comfortable place to spend the day, and we don't feel the pressure of a high-rise office building. We just do our work, chat a bit, and head home when we are finished. It’s a very straightforward way to run a company and it suits our style perfectly.
