D Cafe Cottage

D Cafe Cottage is our little place over on Potia Road in Durg. We wanted a spot that didn't feel like those big chain shops you see in the city center. It is a small building, and we have tried to make it comfortable with what we had on hand. Most of the people who come in live right around here in the neighborhood. You might see us cleaning the windows or fixing a chair during the quiet hours of the afternoon. It is not a perfect setup, but it works for us and the neighbors who visit. We serve coffee and some small bites to eat. Sometimes the kitchen gets a bit slow when the place is packed, but nobody seems to mind too much. We know most of the kids from the area and the older folks who walk by every evening. Potia Road stays fairly busy, so there is always something to look at out the front window. We keep the decorations simple, just stuff we like. The floor has a few scuffs, and the paint might need a touch-up one of these days, but it gives the place some character. We do not have a huge menu, just the things we know how to make well. It is just a place to hang out without any pressure. If you are looking for us, we are the ones with the sign near the bend in the road. It has been several years now. We are just happy to be part of the Durg community and serve the people here.
