Community Based Eye Services Christian Fellowship Hospital

The eye services center here at Christian Fellowship Hospital is located right on GE Road in Chandmari. It’s a very busy part of town, so there is always the sound of horns and engines coming through the front door. We are a community-based service, which really just means we see a lot of different people from the neighborhood every day. The building is a bit older, and the exam rooms are tucked away down a narrow hallway. Most people come here because they’re having trouble seeing clearly or need to get their glasses adjusted. We have the usual eye charts and those heavy machines that you have to lean your chin on. The waiting room is small and can get very warm in the afternoons, but we have a couple of fans that help a bit. We don't have a big marketing team or anything; most people just find us because we’ve been here on GE Road for such a long time. The desks are covered in lens cases and tiny tools for fixing frames. We spend a lot of time just talking to the older folks who come in from Chandmari and making sure they know how to take care of their eyes. It’s a simple, honest place where we just do the work and try to keep the chairs mostly organized for the next person who walks in off the street.
