We've been over here at A-E/2-A in the Light Industrial Area for quite a while now. It’s a busy spot, mostly dust and noise from the other shops around us. Bhilai Castings Pvt. Ltd. isn't fancy at all. Most days it’s just us dealing with the molds and the metal in the back. It gets very hot inside the workshop, especially during the summer months, but that's just how this kind of work goes. We started small and just kept at it year after year. People in the area know where to find us if they need something cast. We don't really have a big office or anything like that. Just the workshop floor and a small wooden desk where we keep the papers and the phone. Sometimes the phone rings off the hook and other days it's quiet enough to actually get some cleaning done around the place. We see a lot of regulars from the neighborhood. Most of the guys here have been working together for a long time, so we know each other's habits well. It’s not always smooth, machines break down and we have to fix them ourselves on the fly. That’s just the reality of a place like this. We show up, do the work, and head home when the sun goes down. It's nothing special, just a local business trying to stay busy in Bhilai. We keep the gates open early for deliveries.
