Beekay Engineering & Castings Ltd. is situated at plots 27 and 28 in the Light Industrial Area. It’s a busy spot where we do a lot of foundry work and heavy engineering. The smell of hot metal and the sound of the machinery are just part of our daily lives here. We’ve been operating in this area for a long time, and our workshop has grown bit by bit over the years. It isn’t the cleanest place in the world, as casting metal is naturally quite a messy process. We have a solid team of guys who know how to handle the furnaces and the molds. Our office is a small room at the front that is usually cluttered with blueprints and technical drawings. We don’t have a marketing team to make us look polished. We’re just a group of engineers and laborers who show up every day to make parts for various industries. The Light Industrial Area near the P.O. is a good community for us since we are surrounded by other people who understand this kind of work. Sometimes things go wrong with a machine and we have to spend all day fixing it, but that’s just part of the job. We keep a steady pace and try to stay on top of our production schedule because we have to meet our deadlines. It’s hard, honest work that we’ve been doing for decades and we hope to keep it going.
