You can find us at shop number 40 inside the Civic Centre. It is a well-known building, so most people do not have much trouble getting to us. We have been sitting in this same small unit for a lot of years now. The shop is not very big, and most of the space is taken up by the main counter and the glass display cases where we keep the watches. We have clocks hanging on almost every bit of wall space, so there is a constant sound of ticking throughout the day. My father was the one who started this watch company, and I have just kept things going the same way he did. We do a lot of small jobs like replacing batteries or fixing broken straps for people who are passing through the centre. It is steady work that keeps us busy. We see all kinds of watches come across the counter, from very old ones to the modern digital ones. The Civic Centre is usually full of people, so we get to meet many different folks from all walks of life. We do not have a website or any social media pages to show off. If people need their watch looked at, they just know to come to shop 40. We have a tiny workbench in the back with a bright lamp for the detailed work. It is a quiet and honest way to spend the day. We just keep the time moving for everyone.
