Aaryasatya Research & Development Foundation

The Aaryasatya Research & Development Foundation is based in the Housing Board Colony in Kaurinbhata. Specifically, we are at number 267/21. It’s a typical government-built colony, so all the houses look a bit similar, and the streets are narrow but lively. We chose to set up here because it’s where we live and it keeps our costs low. Doing research and development sounds like it might involve big labs and white coats, but for us, it’s mostly about gathering information and trying to solve local problems with what we have. We spend a lot of time at our desks reading and writing. The neighbors sometimes wonder what we are doing with all those papers and books, but they’ve gotten used to us by now. We don't have any corporate backing or a fancy board of directors. It’s just a few of us who are curious and want to see how we can improve things in the area. The water tanker comes by in the mornings, and that’s usually when we take our first break and talk to the other residents. It’s a very grounded way to live and work. We don't always get the results we want right away, and some projects take much longer than we expected. But being right here in the colony reminds us why we started this in the first place. We just want to keep learning and helping where we can.
