Universal Mobile Centre

Universal Mobile Centre has been sitting here on Udaipur Road 1 for quite a while now. If you walk past the main junction, you’ll see our sign hanging out front. It’s usually pretty busy around here with the traffic and people heading to work, but we like the energy. Inside, the shop is filled with all sorts of things. We have glass cases stuffed with mobile phones, chargers, and those screen protectors that everyone seems to need these days. Most of the time, the back workbench is covered in tiny screws and phone parts because somebody always dropped their phone on the pavement. It’s a bit messy sometimes, but that’s how we work. We started out small, just a couple of us fixing whatever came through the door. Now, we handle a lot more, though the coffee machine in the corner still struggles to make a decent cup. People from the neighborhood stop in just to chat or ask about their data plans. We don’t have fancy uniforms or a big reception desk. It’s just a counter, some stools, and a lot of technical talk. The sunlight hits the front window pretty hard in the afternoons, so we usually keep the door propped open to catch a breeze. It’s a simple setup, really. We just focus on getting the gadgets working again so people can get back to their day. It’s a decent living and we know most of our regulars by name now.
