Tyre King Company

You’ll find Tyre King Company out on Dahod Road, right near Pipal Khunt. It’s a busy stretch of road with lots of trucks and cars passing through all day long. The air is usually a bit dusty because of the traffic. We deal with tires of all sizes, from the small ones for scooters to the heavy ones for big rigs. The shop floor is usually covered in some black marks from the rubber. It’s hard work, and our hands are usually dirty by noon. We don't have a fancy waiting room with coffee. People just stand around or sit on a bench while we finish up. The weather gets really hot out here on the road, so we keep the fans going. It’s a straightforward business. If your tire is worn out or has a puncture, we take care of it. We’ve seen all sorts of vehicles come through Pipal Khunt. Some days are slow, and we just sit and watch the traffic. Other days, three trucks show up at once and it’s a scramble. We’ve been in this spot for a while, and the neighbors know us. It’s just a place for tires, nothing more and nothing less. We keep the tools ready and the spare parts stacked up in the back. Sometimes the jack gets stuck or we run out of a specific size, but we usually figure something out. It's just us and the road. We keep some old rags around to wipe the grease off.
