Living and working in Simalwara means you know most people who walk through the door. At Subham Sales And Services, our day starts early, usually with a bit of cleaning because the dust from the road always finds its way inside. We have various items on the shelves and tools scattered around the back where the servicing happens. It is not a huge place, just a decent-sized shop where we try to keep things organized, even if it doesn't always stay that way. People come in asking for parts or wanting something looked at because it stopped working. Sometimes we have what they need right there, other times we have to wait for a delivery to arrive from the city. The fan hums in the corner all day long while we talk to customers about their equipment. There is no big corporate office here, just a counter and some chairs for people to sit while they wait. We handle the paperwork by hand mostly, keeping files in old folders. It’s quiet in the afternoons when the heat hits, but things pick up again towards the evening. It is honest work and it keeps us busy enough. We don't do much advertising; people just know where we are located in Simalwara. If the shutters are up, we are open and ready to help with whatever mechanical or sales stuff is needed.
