About Shree Krishan Lela School – Education in Dungarpur
Out in Jogpur, Dungarpur, you’ll find our school. It’s a quiet area mostly, surrounded by a lot of open land and some smaller houses. The school building is pretty simple, just some sturdy walls and a roof that keeps the rain out. We don't have any of those big, shiny glass windows you see in the cities. Our classrooms are basic, with wooden desks and some old chalkboards that we still use every day. The kids come from all over the Jogpur area, some walking and some coming on cycles. The ground outside is mostly dirt and gravel, so the kids come back inside with dusty feet after every break. We don't have a big office or a reception desk with a fancy phone. It’s usually just one of us sitting at a table near the entrance. The day starts early before the sun gets too high, and we try to finish up before it gets too hot in the afternoon. There are no big speeches or complicated missions here. We just teach the lessons, watch the kids during their lunch, and make sure they get home safely. It’s a very local way of doing things, and we’ve been part of this community for a while now. It’s not a flashy life, but it’s what we do here in Dungarpur, just keeping the school running day by day for the kids who live nearby.
