PRALAV NIDHI LIMITED is located in Bankada, Simalwara, which is down in the Dungarpur district. Our office is associated with Mathura Lal, who is well known in these parts. We are way out in Rajasthan-314403, far from the big city lights of Jaipur or Udaipur. Here, life is simple and people work hard. We set this up to help the local folks keep their savings in one place. Most of the people around here are farmers or run small shops. They don't want to deal with big banks that ask too many questions. We know our members, we know their families. It’s a small office, nothing fancy at all. We spend our days checking passbooks and talking to people about their small loans. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit by the window to finish the paperwork. It’s not a polished business, but it’s an honest one. We don't use big marketing slogans because word of mouth is what matters in Simalwara. If you do a good job, people find out. If you don't, they find out even faster. We just try to be fair and keep things moving. It’s a local effort for local people, and that is all we ever intended for it to be. The dust from the road gets in sometimes, but we just wipe the desks and keep going. We've been here for a while and we plan on helping out as long as the people need us to.
