Gurukul Central Academy

If you go near the Rajasthan Syntex Mill in Bori, you’ll find Gurukul Central Academy. It’s a bit of an industrial area, but our school provides a quiet place for the kids to study away from the noise. Most of the families who live around here work at the mill or in the nearby fields. We started this place because the local children needed a school close to where they live. The building is nothing fancy, just a set of rooms built around a central courtyard. We don't have a lot of expensive equipment or computers, but we make sure every student has a decent desk and a chair. The teachers are very dedicated and they often stay late to help kids who are struggling with their math or English. It’s quite dusty out here because of the unpaved roads and the factory nearby, so we’re always sweeping the floors to keep it clean. We have a small garden area that we try to keep green, though it’s a struggle in the summer heat. We just want the kids to get a decent education so they have more options later on in life. We don't have big meetings or corporate strategies to follow. We just ring the bell, start the classes, and do our best with the resources we have. It’s an honest day’s work for all of us, and we take pride in seeing the children learn and grow up in this community.
