Kumaraswamy D J Sounds

I run Kumaraswamy D J Sounds out of my house, H. No -Adavi Rangapur. We are located in the Duggondi area. It’s a quiet place most of the time, except when we are testing the speakers. I started this because I’ve always liked music and the way a good sound system can make a party better. My backyard is usually full of wires, big speakers, and amplifiers. It’s not a fancy shopfront or anything. It’s just where I live and keep all my gear. People from around the village and nearby towns come to me when they have a wedding or a festival. I load everything onto a truck and head out to wherever the event is. Sometimes the equipment gets a bit banged up on the bumpy roads around Adavi Rangapur, so I spend a lot of time fixing things and soldering connections. It’s just me doing most of the work, though sometimes I get a bit of help for the heavy lifting. I’ve lived in this house for a long time, so everyone knows who I am. They just stop by the gate if they need to book the sound system for a date. I don't have a big website or a business card. My neighbors just tell people about me. It’s a simple way to run things. I enjoy being part of the celebrations in our community. When the music is playing and everyone is happy, it feels like the work is worth it.
