B.K. Desai & Co.

B.K. Desai & Co. is located in Masters Colony, over in Dubrajpur near the police station. It is a relatively quiet neighborhood compared to the busy industrial areas. We have been around this part of town for a long time. Our work mostly involves handling paperwork and helping people with different business requirements. It is not a big operation at all. There are only a few of us working in a small room filled with old desks and stacks of files. You can hear the normal sounds of the colony outside, like motorbikes passing or people talking on the street. We do not have a big glowing sign, just a small one near the door so people know they have found the right place. Most people in Dubrajpur know us by name anyway. They stop by to ask a few questions or to get help with their documents. We do not use a lot of big words or complicated explanations. We just try to be helpful and get the paperwork finished properly. Sometimes the power goes out and we have to wait for the lights to come back on before we can finish our typing. We usually keep a pot of tea ready for anyone who comes in for a meeting. It is a slow and steady kind of business. We are not interested in growing into a huge company. We just like being here in the colony and doing our work for the local people.
