Assam Rifles Composite Hospital

This hospital is located out in Shokhuvi. It’s part of the Assam Rifles setup, so things are run in a pretty orderly way. We take care of a lot of personnel and their families, but the local community around Shokhuvi knows we are here too. It’s a quiet area for the most part, which is good for people trying to recover from being sick or hurt. The building isn't new, but it's sturdy and serves its purpose well. We have different wards for various needs, and the staff is used to a routine. Life out here in Shokhuvi is a bit different than in the big cities, and our hospital reflects that. We don't have fancy decorations or anything like that. It’s all about the medical work. People come here because they know we will look after them. Sometimes we have to deal with emergencies that come in at odd hours, but that's just how it goes with hospital work. We keep the place running day and night. Most of us who work here live close by, so we're part of the local scene. It’s a bit of a drive to get here if you're coming from far away, but once you arrive, it's easy to find the hospital. We just focus on getting people healthy and back to their daily lives. It’s honest work, and we do our best with what we have in Shokhuvi. We have been here for a long time and plan to stay to look after the folks who need it.
