Ralson (India) Limited (Auto Divison)

Our place is located out at the 25th Mile Stone on G.T. Road, right in Village Mallipur near Doraha. It’s a big spot because of the auto division work we do here. If you drive past on the highway, you’ll see the gates and the trucks lined up. Inside, it’s mostly the smell of rubber and the sound of machines running all day long. We’ve got a lot of people from the local village working shifts here. It isn't a glamorous job, but it’s what we know. The floors are concrete and usually have some marks from the tires and heavy equipment. We don't have a lot of decorations on the walls, maybe just a calendar or two and some safety notices that have been there forever. Lunchtime is when it gets a bit quieter, and everyone sits out to eat their tiffins. Then the whistles blow and it's back to the line. The auto division keeps us moving fast because there is always a demand for what we make. Sometimes the weather makes things tough, especially when it rains hard and the G.T. Road gets messy, but we keep the gates open. It is a straightforward operation, nothing too complicated about how we run things. We just focus on getting the day's quota finished and heading home. It’s a long day usually, but that’s just how the industry is in this part of Punjab. We have been here for a long time now.
