Arkay Stone Mill

Our stone mill is located out in Namrup, specifically over at Post Parbatpur. It is not the easiest place to find if you are not from around here, but once you hear the crushers, you know you are close. We spend the whole day breaking down rocks into different sizes. It is a very loud business, and there is always a layer of stone dust on everything, including our tea mugs. We have been at this spot for quite some time now. The machinery is old but it still gets the work done if you treat it right. We mostly deal with local construction needs. When the rain starts, things get a bit messy with the mud, but we keep the mill running as much as we can. It is a small team of us here. We do not really do much advertising or anything; people just know we are the place in Parbatpur for gravel and crushed stone. Usually, there is a queue of tractors waiting to be loaded. We just focus on the grit and the noise. Every morning we grease the bearings and start the engines. It is a simple life, really. You get used to the vibration of the ground under your feet after a while. We just provide the stone that goes into the roads and houses around this part of the country. It is heavy work and we go home tired every single evening. The rocks never stop coming.
