Master Mobile

Master Mobile is right near the Shivaji Putala in Paneer Nagar. It is a busy spot, mostly because of the landmark, so there is always a lot of noise from the street. Our shop is where we spend most of our time looking at tiny screens and even tinier screws. If you have ever dropped a phone, you know why places like ours exist. It is not a glamorous job, sitting under a bright lamp with a pair of tweezers for hours. The back of the shop is full of old parts and boxes that we haven't quite gotten around to organizing yet. People come in all day with cracked screens or batteries that will not charge anymore. Sometimes they are in a hurry, and sometimes they just want to chat while we take a look at their device. Paneer Nagar is a lively neighborhood, so there is always something happening outside. We do not have a big corporate team or a fancy marketing plan. It is just us behind the counter, trying to get these gadgets working again so people can go about their day. We drink a lot of tea to keep going, especially during the evening rush. It can be frustrating when a part does not fit or a phone is beyond saving, but we do what we can. It is just a small mobile shop, nothing more and nothing less. We like being near the statue because everyone knows where that is, so we never have to give long directions.
