Popular Furniture Showroom

You can find Popular Furniture Showroom right on Mahatma Phule Road. We are at Shop No-2-3, directly across from the Syndicate Bank, so it’s hard to miss us if you’re in the neighborhood. The showroom isn't huge, but we pack in as many sofas, beds, and cupboards as we can fit on the floor. My father started this place many years ago, and we’ve just kept it going the same way. The street outside is always full of people and rickshaws, especially in the evenings when everyone is out shopping. We spend most of our day moving chairs around or showing someone how a cabinet drawer opens smoothly. It’s a bit of a tight squeeze sometimes with all the wood and fabric smells in the air. We get a lot of local families coming in looking for something sturdy for their homes. We don't do those fancy computer designs; we just show you what’s actually on the floor. If it works for your house, then great. Sometimes the dust from the road gets inside, so we spend a lot of time wiping down the glass tables and wooden surfaces. It’s honest work and we like talking to the neighbors who stop by just to say hello. The bank across the street is a good landmark for people who aren't from around here. We’ve seen the road change quite a bit, but we’re still here doing the same thing every day.
