We are located at Shop No. B-112 in City Mall, which is right near Pendharkar College in the MIDC Phase 1 area of Dombivalli East. Being in an industrial zone like this means there is always a lot of noise and movement around us. Our days are mostly spent talking to people about air compressors and how to keep them running. The shop isn't very large, and sometimes it gets quite crowded with manuals and spare parts sitting on the desks. We've been here for a good while now, seeing the area change as more factories come up nearby. It's a busy spot, especially in the mornings when everyone is starting their shifts. We don't have a fancy reception area or anything like that. Usually, there's just a couple of us here handling calls or looking over some technical drawings. Sometimes the light in the mall isn't the best, but we make do with what we have. People usually stop by after visiting the college or while they are heading into the main industrial belt. It’s a straightforward way to earn a living. We just focus on the compressors and the pipes. There’s always a bit of grease on the rags and the smell of oil in the air, which is just part of the job. We keep a small kettle for tea, and that’s about as much comfort as we need during a long afternoon of work.
