We are located in Room No. 10 at Jamana Niwas. This is in the Star Colony area of Dombivli East, right on Mantada Road. It’s a small place but we keep busy with all sorts of telephone work and cabling jobs. My cousin and I started this because we knew how to fix phone lines and setup intercoms for the local buildings around here. It isn't a fancy office with air conditioning in every corner, but we have the tools we need. Most days we are out on site anyway, pulling wires or checking why a connection went dead. People around here know us by name and just drop by if they have a problem with their office phones. The traffic on Mantada Road can get pretty loud during the evenings, but we’ve gotten used to it over the years. We keep a stock of basic wires and handsets in the back room so we don't have to keep running to the market every time a customer needs a replacement part. It’s just honest work. We try to get things done quickly because we know how frustrating it is when the phone doesn't work. Sometimes it's a simple fix and sometimes we have to spend hours tracing a line through a messy basement. We just get on with it. It’s just the three of us working here now. We haven't changed much since we moved into this room.
