Down in Phase 2 of the MIDC in Dombivli East, you’ll find our unit, D7. Controlwell India has been operating out of this industrial area for quite some time now. Being in MIDC means we are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. It’s a lot of noise and dust, but it’s where we belong. We deal with control systems and various industrial components. The office part is just a small section of the warehouse where we keep the computers and the files. It’s not very fancy. We have a lot of metal shelving filled with parts. Our team is mostly made up of people from around Dombivli and Kalyan. We start early to beat the heat. The rains here can be really heavy, and sometimes the roads in the industrial estate get flooded, which makes getting to work a bit of a challenge. We don't have a marketing department or anything like that. We just focus on making sure the inventory is correct and the shipments are going to the right places. It’s a practical way of working. Some days are just spent counting stock and cleaning up the workspace. We aren't trying to be the biggest company out there. We just want to do a decent job every day and keep things moving forward in this busy corner of Dombivli. It’s hard work, but someone has to do it. Everything we do is about making sure things work the way they should.
