Ayyappa Traders

Our shop is at House No. 606 on Kalyan Shilphata Road. We’re right near the Xperia Mall and Pawar Public School, so the whole area is always buzzing with people and cars. It gets especially hectic when the school lets out and the parents are all trying to pick up their kids. We’ve been in Dombivali East for quite some time now. Our place isn’t anything fancy. It’s just a regular trading shop where we keep our stock and talk to the people who walk through the door. We sell a variety of things for building and home maintenance. Most of our customers are folks from the neighborhood or local contractors who need a few things in a hurry. We keep a ledger on the counter and there is usually a stack of delivery notes held down by a heavy stone. It’s a simple way of doing things, but it works for us. We don’t have a big mission or any of that stuff you read in magazines. We just try to keep the shelves stocked and the prices fair. Sometimes we sit outside on the steps when it’s a bit quiet and watch the construction happening over by the mall. It’s a lot of work running a small trading business, and some days are better than others. But we like the routine of it. We open the shutters, sweep the front, and wait to see who needs what today. It's just a normal day.
