We are located out in Dombivli West, which is part of the Thane district. Our place is on Deendayal Road in the Vishnu Nagar area. It’s a busy residential and commercial zone. Being on this side of the tracks means we deal with a lot of local contractors and people living nearby. Asahi India Glass Ltd has a lot of branches, and this one is ours to look after. The office is simple and we keep a small stock of glass here for immediate needs. Most of the day is spent managing the logistics of moving glass through the crowded streets of Thane. It’s not an easy task, especially when it’s raining hard during the monsoon. We have to be very careful with the packaging. The team here is local, so we know the shortcuts and the best times to move the bigger loads. We don't have any fancy posters or corporate slogans on the walls. We just have our desks and the ledgers. People come in, ask for what they need, and we see if we can get it for them. It’s a practical way to run things. Sometimes the power goes out or the internet is slow, but we just carry on. It’s about being reliable and making sure the glass is handled properly from the moment it arrives until it leaves our doorstep.
