Srinivasan Store

Down here in Gorahalli Village, our store at number 94 is where most folks stop by during the day. Since we are out in the village area, we try to keep the essentials so people don't have to travel too far for simple things. It's a modest place with a stone floor and wooden counters that have seen better days. I took over from my father, and not much has changed since then. We sell basic groceries, some farming supplies, and whatever else the locals might need. The post office isn't far, so we get a lot of people passing through. In the afternoons, it gets quiet and I usually sit out front for a bit. The store is small and it can get quite warm in the summer, but we have a small fan that helps. We don't do any advertising or anything like that; people just know we’re here. Sometimes we run out of stock when the delivery truck doesn't make it through the mud after a big rain. That's just how village life is. I know everyone’s family history around here, which makes the work feel more like visiting neighbors than running a business. We keep things simple and try to be fair with everyone. It's not a fancy life, but it’s ours, and we’ve been at this Gorahalli Post address for years now. It's just a regular local shop.
