About S R S Spices & Dry Fuits – Food & Beverages in Doddaballapura
I've been here at 1/85/41 on Bm Road for a while now. Most mornings start early, usually around 7 when the shutters go up. Dm Halli can be quite busy during the day, so getting the stock sorted before the traffic picks up is helpful. We deal with all sorts of spices and different kinds of dry fruits. Sometimes the shop smells like cardamom or pepper, depending on what we just unpacked. It’s a small place but it stays packed with bags and boxes everywhere. I try to keep things organized but when several deliveries come at once, it gets a bit messy. People from around here stop by, some just to chat, others need something specific for their cooking that day. We don't have fancy displays or anything like that. It's just shelves and sacks of goods. I spend a lot of time weighing things out on the scale and tying up little plastic bags. The fan in the corner makes a bit of noise, but you get used to it after a few hours. BM Road has changed a bit over the years, more cars and bikes now. We just keep doing what we do. If you walk past, you'll probably see us sorting through almonds or checking the quality of the latest batch of cloves. It’s hard work, mostly standing on your feet all day, but it’s what we know.
