Niranjana Minerals

Our yard is located in Sankara, right near the Shankara Reddy Town area. We work with different kinds of minerals and rocks. It’s heavy work, mostly outdoors or in open sheds. We have piles of material sitting around and the ground is always a bit uneven. It’s not the cleanest place to work, but minerals are like that. We spend a lot of time weighing loads and making sure the trucks are filled right. We’ve been based here for some time now. People in the area know us by name. We don't have a big sign or a fancy lobby. If you want to talk to us, you usually have to find someone in the yard or at the small desk near the gate. The sun gets pretty hot out here, so we take our breaks in the shade when we can. Sometimes the machinery breaks down and we have to spend the whole day fixing it instead of moving product. That’s just part of the business. We don't use a lot of big words or complicated processes. We just get the minerals where they need to go. It’s a tough job but we like being out in the open air. We just keep things simple and try to be fair with everyone who comes through our gates. It keeps us busy enough throughout the week and we usually go home pretty tired.
