About National Cancer Registry Programme – Medical & Healthcare in Doddaballapura
We work out of Farena Corporate Park in Kannamangala. Our office is on the ground floor, unit 1. It’s where the National Cancer Registry Programme is based. It’s a lot of data work. We spend most of our time looking at records and entering information into the systems. It’s not a very exciting office to look at. We have rows of desks and a lot of computers. Since we are on the ground floor, we see people walking by to the other offices in the park. It’s a bit of a commute for some of us, but the building is decent. We keep the place pretty quiet because the work requires a lot of concentration. There are stacks of folders everywhere that need to be processed. We don't have a fancy coffee machine, just a kettle and some tea bags in the corner. We aren't trying to sell anything. We just collect the data that is needed for the registry. Sometimes it feels like the work never ends because there is always more information coming in. We eat our lunch at our desks most days or go for a short walk outside if it’s not too hot. The air conditioning is usually set a bit too cold, so most of us keep a sweater at our chairs. It’s just a standard office job where we focus on getting the numbers right and keeping the logs updated.
