General Hospital

If you are heading out towards Chintamani or Hoskote in the Bangalore Rural area, you will find us near the bus stand. Being near the bus stand means we get a lot of different people coming through the doors. Some are just passing through and others live right here in the Chintamani Hoskote area. It makes for a busy atmosphere most of the time. The dust from the road and the noise of the buses is just something we are used to by now. We aren't a corporate hospital with a lot of rules and polished floors. We are more of a local place where things are a bit more relaxed, even if it’s busy. The staff here has been working together for a long time, so we have a good rhythm going. We don’t really do any promotion or anything like that because everyone around here knows where we are anyway. Sometimes the power goes out or the water is slow, but we just keep going. It’s the reality of working in this part of the rural district. We focus on the basic things that people need when they aren't feeling their best. It is a plain, honest place to come if you need a checkup or have an emergency near the bus stop. We just do our best every day and get through the tasks one by one. It’s not fancy but it works for the people around here. That is just our daily routine.
