Drishti Eye Hospital

Being near the airport in Devanahalli means we get a lot of traffic passing through our doors. Drishti Eye Hospital has been sitting here for a bit now. It is not a huge place, but it serves the purpose for anyone having trouble with their sight or needing a quick checkup. We get people from the surrounding villages and also folks who are just moving into the new apartments around this part of town. The staff is mostly local, so we know the area well and can give directions if you get lost. It gets noisy sometimes with the planes and the road traffic outside, but inside the clinic, we try to keep things quiet so patients can relax while they wait. We have the usual equipment for testing eyes. It is not the newest stuff in the world, but it works fine and gets the job done accurately. If your eyes are itchy or you cannot read the signs on the road anymore, that is what we look at. We do not have a big fancy lobby with coffee machines or leather sofas. Just some plastic chairs and a water cooler in the corner. People come in, get their eyes checked, and head out to get on with their day. We try to be helpful without making a big fuss about everything. Sometimes the doctor is running late because of the traffic on the main road, but that is just life here.
