Dole Fruits & Vegetables India Pvt Ltd

Working out of Jigani Industrial Area on 6th Parallell Road 101, things stay pretty busy at Dole Fruits & Vegetables India Pvt Ltd. It’s a large industrial space, so it’s not exactly cozy. We are surrounded by other factories and warehouses. Every morning, crates of produce come in and we have to get them sorted and moved out. It’s a lot of physical labor. The floors are concrete and the ceiling is high. We deal with a lot of fresh stuff, so timing is everything. If a shipment is late, everyone is stressed. We have a small crew that has been around for a few years. We wear heavy shoes and spend a lot of time on the loading docks. It’s not a place for suits and ties. We’re usually covered in a bit of dirt or juice by noon. The address at 101 is easy to find if you know the industrial area, but it’s a bit of a maze for newcomers. We don't spend much time on fancy talk. We just focus on the crates and the trucks. Sometimes the cooling system makes a lot of noise, but we’re used to it. We keep our logs and make sure the count is right. It’s just a regular job in a big industrial park. We do the work, make sure the food is moving, and head home. That’s the daily routine for us.
