Chandra Engineering Works

Chandra Engineering Works is situated out in Anekal, at 268/B. It’s a bit of a drive from the city center, but it suits us just fine. We have more space here than we would in the middle of town. The shop is where we do all kinds of engineering jobs, mostly repairs and custom parts that people can't find elsewhere. It’s a dusty place with a lot of tools scattered around, but the guys know where everything is. We have a small shed in the back for the bigger pieces of steel. Working in Anekal means we deal with a lot of local farmers and small factory owners who need things fixed quickly. We don’t really do big production runs. It’s more about one-off tasks and fixing broken equipment. The power out here can be a bit unreliable, so we have a generator that we use when we have to meet a deadline. It’s just a few of us, including the owner who is usually right there on the shop floor with a wrench in his hand. We don't wear uniforms or anything like that. Just old clothes that can get greasy. We’ve been at 268/B for quite a while now and the locals know to just drop by if they have a problem. We don’t spend money on advertising or anything flashy. The work we do speaks for itself, and usually, that's enough to keep the lights on and the tea brewing in the morning.
