Cafe Coffee Day

This particular Cafe Coffee Day is tucked away in Devanahalli, B Wing 174/2. While the name is on lots of buildings, this one is our local spot. The staff here mostly lives in the surrounding area, so we know a lot of the people who come in. We have the usual coffee machines and the chairs that you see in other branches, but we try to make it feel a bit more like home. The windows look out onto the street, and it's a good place to sit if you have some work to do or just want to wait for someone. We keep the place tidy, wiping down tables as soon as people leave. It’s not a massive space, but it’s enough for a decent crowd. Sometimes the grinder makes a lot of noise, which makes it hard to hear for a second, but that’s just how it goes. We serve the standard sandwiches and cakes that get delivered to us. We’ve had the same regulars for a long time now. They come in at the same time every day for their usual order. It’s a quiet part of Devanahalli, so it doesn't get as crazy as the city center. We just focus on making the coffee right and making sure the air conditioning is working when it gets hot outside. It’s a simple job and we like the people we meet here every day. We don't do anything special, just coffee.
