Getting out to Settigere Village takes a bit of time if you're coming from the city center, but we like it here. We are located at 48C, right near the Sadahalli Gate and Road. Being in Devenahalli Taluk means we are away from the worst of the noise, though the airport traffic nearby is always something you hear in the background. The building is simple and we share the area with some local farms and small houses. Most mornings start with checking the site and seeing what needs attention first. We aren't a huge firm, just B B B Associates, and we focus on the tasks at hand without making a big deal of it. The dust from the road can be a bit of a nuisance in the dry season, so we spend a lot of time sweeping out the front. We have a small table where we take our lunch and talk about the day's plans. It’s practical work. We don't have fancy brochures or a front desk person. If you come by, you’ll probably find one of us with a ledger or out back looking at materials. The locals know us well enough by now. It’s a quiet life in the village, and we've grown used to the pace of things around here. We just keep our heads down and get through the list of things to do each week. There is always plenty to keep us busy without needing to search for it.
